Saturday July 7th – (fer) studio – Inglewood, CA
Hosted in collaboration with the Free School of Architecture, the 2nd installment of the Small Talks series centered around the recent development in Inglewood as a result of the new stadium planned for the region and the controversial course of gentrification that is challenging Los Angeles County at large. Through a workshop-based format, the goal of this pop-up was to educate ourselves on the effect that new development has on communities. Various locally-based organizers were be present to shed light on their knowledge & experiences. Participants engaged with other like-minded Angeleno’s and shared their perspective on the current evolution of our city.
